DAYS 1 & 2: VICTORIA FALLS
ABOUT THE AREA :

The Victoria Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage site forms the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia where the Zambezi River plunges 100m over basalt cliffs a deep gorge below. It is aptly named in local tongue as “The Smoke That Thunders” due to the amount of spray generated, resembling smoke from afar and wetting all who stand near it. This is Africa’s adventure activity capital and there is more than enough to keep everyone entertained

DAYS 4 & 5: HLUHLUWE-IMFOLOZI
ABOUT THE AREA:  Hluhluwe – Imfolozi Park is the oldest proclaimed nature reserve in Africa. It consists of approximately 100 000 hectares of hilly topography in the heart of the game rich Zululand region. The park is particularly well known for its rich wildlife and conservation efforts in the past and was the refuge of the last remaining white rhino populations in the 60’s and 70’s from which they were reintroduced to other parks throughout the country.

DAYS 6 TO 8: ISIMANGALISO WETLAND PARK
ABOUT THE AREA:  iSimangaliso Wetland Park is a huge protected area along the coast of South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal Province. The park’s centrepiece is the vast Lake St. Lucia, home to large numbers of hippos, crocodiles, pelicans and flamingos. Elephants, giraffes and leopards inhabit the grasslands and forests of the nearby Western Shores and Charters Creek areas. To the north, Sodwana Bay is known for its colourful coral reefs.
